Other short story

So This is my original short story I wrote but didn't end up using. 

“Do you know how people say that it was like a blink of an eye and then my life was changed or all of the sudden I realized and it was clear to me? You know those moments that people have and then their lives are changed. Well I think that's only for the stories that end up with happy endings or ones that had a little bit of hope in them to start out with. I think that people having those moments of clarity that has the force to change their lives is just looked at as only good because usually the people who have the ones that end up bad aren't around long enough for them to change or people don't want to hear how you realized that your life sucks. What you don't believe me look at me for instance I tell people that I have had this experience that has Changed my life and that I was afraid it was for the worst and what happens to me. No one believes a fucking word I say and I get test I get questions about my state of sanity and I get sent to this place.” 

“So you still believe that you went to this place you still hold on to this feeling that there is something out there that is waiting to get to you because you survived" said a voice from the corner of the dark room. 

The young man looked at the corner where the voice came from with a look that someone his age shouldn't know. He then looked at the light on the table where he sat and it started to glow brighter lighting to the whole room the voice in the corner was then a middle aged man with a pen and a clip board writing away but as the room brightened he looked up with an air of shock at that moment the light bulb exploded and all the light was gone from the room and darkness once again devoured it. The man stood up and said that is all and two large men walk in and grabbed the young man by the shoulders he looked at the man and with nothing more than a whisper he said

" no I don't believe that now that would be crazy but would explain why I'm here." The young man was then escorted out and the man was left to the dark of the room.
