The police went in to the building when the fire fighters had said it was alright. Two police officers went in to the charred building still smiling of smoke from the flames that had been there not so long ago. The walked carefully trying not to step to hard as though is they were to do so the whole place would fall apart from the weight of there feet. they walked around for a while looking for what may have caused this disaster, determined not to return too there fellow police officers with nothing more then a shrug as to what had caused the great blaze.
The younger of the two police officers was sifting through the rubble when he came apron an object that had a faint glow to it. Shocked he called over to his partner to come see what he had found. His partner walked over and when he had reached the young police officer he removed the last pieces of rubble to uncover the object that was emitting the faint glow.
The two men stood shocked and didn’t know if what the were looking at had been the cause of the fire and if the other wasn’t there looking at the same object they would have thought they had gone crazy. the older police officer reached out to touch the object but his younger partner reached out and grabbed his shoulder in fear of what would come of touching this object that they believed had almost burnt down this building they were standing in. not heeding the warning the young man had given him with his firm grasp on his shoulder the older officer grabbed the object and raised it to the light and at that moment he herd a whisper coming from the object then the whisper grew louder as the object started to talk.
